"Minor Decisive Pakistan Army victory"? Minor Decisive???????--89.176.61.143 (talk) 13:31, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the PAF's section?

[edit]

In this article, we have forgetten the role of Pakistan Air Force. Pakistani F-16 aggressively bombed the mountain position of talibans, killing hundreds of talibans including foreign fighter. Pakistan's F-16 are bomging the hide outs of talibans in the swat. We need to include PAF's role.

Why is the Operation Named Black ThunderStorm. In the News and in the briefing its called Operation Raah Raast ( Straight Path ). Digimanpk (talk) 16:18, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the name of the commander to Major General Aijaz Awan. Lt. Gen. Nadeem Ahmed is the head of Special Support Group which is looking after the IDPs.Digimanpk (talk) 16:25, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is called Operation Black thunderstorm and Operation Rah-e-rast is the sub operation. Verifiend with army personnel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.214.105.251 (talk) 00:34, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Casualties

[edit]

Why is nowhere mentioned that the death tolls are in fact numbers given by the pakistani military and not independently confirmed? http://www.france24.com/en/20090601-pakistan-closing-another-key-nw-town I'm putting a POV tag.--TheFEARgod (Ч) 08:56, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many of the numbers have been added by IP socks of User:Top Gun and are nothing but their speculation. It would be better to remove any numbers you consider unreliable than simply tag them. Nick-D (talk) 11:13, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Waziristan and Bannu

[edit]

What about Waziristan and Bannu, where too are combat the ongoing? --Omega933 (talk) 10:52, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As of June 12, 2009, Sufi Mohammed Hasn't Been Captured

[edit]

It was only rumored that he was captured. The pakistan military denied the reports after this rumor spread. Read the news online75.146.185.25 (talk) 19:08, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

End operation

[edit]

In article is ended operation 14 VI, but fighting in Swat are ongoing --Omega933 (talk) 17:07, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name of Operation

[edit]

If you browse various news websites you will see the actual name of the operation was always Operation Rah-e-Rast and not Operation Black Thunderstorm! I think a change in the name of the article is in order; as it confuses its relation and time orientation to other events during other similar operations such as Operation Rah-e-Haq and the Second Battle of Swat--Sheikhu (talk) 17:32, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merging Rah-e-Rast, Black Thunderstorm and Second Battle of Swat

[edit]

Don't you think since its the same fight in the same area, at the same time, all three should be merged together? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.255.144.219 (talk) 16:35, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
